The Alpen Glupen Hydrangea is a stunning evergreen addition to your garden as iconic as it is popular. You'll see the gorgeous large globes of small richly pink flowers to medium purple (purple if planted in acidic soils) used in floral arrangements and decorations all over the world and with good reason.

Alpen Glupen is prized to attain that striking purple tone when planted in acidic environments. Great for cut flowers or in tub planting. Quick growing and reaching 1- 1.2 metres tall the hydrangea is very low maintenance, wearing bright and glossy large foliage throughout the cooler months to lovely effect.

Moderately wind & frost tolerant. Most well drained, rich soils. Shade to partial shade.
