Choisya ternata, commonly known as Mexican Orange Blossom, green leaves. The foliage is adorned with star-shaped, pure white flowers from early spring through summer which also have a strong sweet orange scent.

Choisya ternata is a popular and low maintenance plant in NZ gardens and is commonly included in mixed plantings and borders, planted around outdoor living areas, grown as an informal hedge, or used to brighten up a bland area. Evergreen. An excellent general garden filler, background or hedging plant. Full sun or part shade. Frost hardy. It grows with a rounded shape to about 1.5 m tall and the same wide and can be trimmed as necessary.
