Dodanaea Viscosa Purpurea
Dodanaea Viscosa Purpurea
Dodonaea viscosa purpurea is an evergreen shrub with attractive copper-purple, leathery leaves. During summer it bears ornamental clusters of small red-purple seeds, which are bird attracting.
Dodonaea viscose purpurea is an ideal hedging or screening plant. It is also useful for soil stabilising in areas of need of erosion control. Once established Dodonaea viscosa purpurea is hardy, will tolerate drought, pollution and coastal, salty winds. Dodonaea viscose purpurea is waterwise once established and low maintenance. Prune lightly in spring for bushy growth; do not prune into old wood. Dodonaea viscose purpurea can grow to a height of 3 metres and a width of 2 metres.
