Almost as big as a lemon, Bearss Lime produces abundant, greenish-yellow, seedless, and very juicy fruit thin skinned. A hardier selection of Tahitian lime with small, thin skinned, deep green seedless fruit which turns lime yellow at maturity.

Tree habit is spreading and vigorous. Protect from frost, needs a warm sheltered site.  Can handle being in a container. Bearss Lime ripens in late winter into spring, and it can also produce some fruit year-around.

Arguably the best lime for the home garden. This is grown on Flying Dragon making it more dwarf.
