A feature of this lovely hydrangea has black stems all year round which set off the deep, dark green leaves and pink mophead flowers if you soil is alkaline or blue if it is acid. Flowers are very delicate. Better suited to a semi-shaded position where soils are moist but free-draining. Suits soil that are either clay, loamy and sandy.
Grows to about 1m to 1.5m high and wide takes approx 5 – 10 years for maturity.
