Possibly one of the worlds best tasting pears!

Taylors Gold produces pears with russeted, cinnamon-colored skin and a juicy, aromatic flavor. Taylor's Gold pears are large and full at the base with no neck and a thick stem. Great eating qualities straight from the tree as it is sweet and juicy, also suited to deserts, or bottling. Prefers well drained fertile soil. Sunny sheltered place. They like a cool to cold winters.

Pears are best with a preventative spray program. At a minimum a winter oil and copper application should be made, followed in Spring at bud movement and ten days later by another copper application.
