A dramatic native flax with slightly arching, smoky grey leaves with slivery blue undersides. Makes a bold and dramatic statement as a feature or mass planted. This stunning evergreen native flax, Phormium Black Rage was selected for its ebony black, weeping foliage. It maintains a compact tidy habit which thrives in almost all New Zealand soil and climatic situations. It's compatible planted alongside grasses, astelias, and hebes and requires very little maintenance. It is also outstanding planted en mass with river rocks and stones.
