This is a popular variety. Great evergreen flowering compact shrub for dappled shade, with very deep red, rounded flower trusses in late spring.

This is a black/red – appeals to people you do not want a bright red. A truly magnificent colour. Frost tolerant, well-drained soil. Shallow rooted therefore they enjoy being watered more especially in summer

Enjoys sun to partial shade. Compact, prune after flowering. Rhododendrons like slightly acidic soil with a pH of around 5. Rhododendrons grow quite slowly and don’t require too much fertiliser.

Height: 1.2metres (10 years for maturity)
